Discover The Hidden Gems of the Bahamas by Yacht
The Bahamas are a dream destination for yacht travelers, especially for those in the United States. With its pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear blue waters, and a short flight from Miami or Fort Lauderdale, it’s the perfect tropical escape. While many families head to the main island of Nassau, there are more than 3000 islands, cays and islets throughout the archipelago. Two of the most enchanting islands–Eleuthera and Harbour Island–offer a unique blend of adventure, luxury, and Bahamian charm, making them must-visit spots for your next vacation.
Whether exploring the islands surrounding Eleuthera by day charter on Birdy or for a longer weeklong yacht trip, there’s so much to see and do in this little corner of paradise.
Discover the Magic of Harbour Island
Harbour Island, a small gem just off the northern coast of Eleuthera, is accessible only by boat but brimming with Bahamian charm. Known for its iconic Pink Sand Beach, this island boasts three miles of stunning coastline. The unique pink hues come from tiny coral insects that live in the reefs, creating a breathtaking backdrop for island adventures.
